TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE TOWN OF DANSVILLE, STEUBEN COUNTY: NYS Dept. of Agriculture requires that there be a 24 hour quarantine prohibiting all dogs from running at large from Nov. 1, 2023 – April 1, 2024 for the protection of the deer population. Any dogs found running at large are subject to seizure and the owner subject to fine. This quarantine will be strictly enforced. 

Licensing Fees For an unsprayed /neutered dog the fee is $20.00 per year. For a spayed/neutered dog the fee is $10.00 per year. After 2 consecutive late notices an additional fee of $10.00 will be charged. By Order of Debra Matthews Dog Control Officer Town of Dansville
